The Beast of College

College is a beast.
Now before you get all wacked out......just listen.

College is an experience that will never be forgotten. And there are specific reasons for this. And...going to a LDS school, I'm sure my experience of college will not be quite what others get to go through. But, still, college is a very taxing, hard thing to go through. Mind you...college is also one of the very best things you will ever put yourself through......but nevertheless.

You are expected to take 14 or more credits to be a full time student. You are given massive amounts of neverending homework to complete before each class. You are given new people to live with, to go to church with, to eat with, to clean with. You have to try and find some kind of job to be able to even think about eating....and that is if you don't have to make payments on housing for the next semester. You have to try and put yourself out there and try and meet new people to get your social circle started. AND...in order to get that social circle started, you neglect homework, sleep and various other important things that you ought to be doing.

We find ourselves in situations where we need to be needed. We stay up until who knows when talking to roommates, facebookin it, or doing absolutely nothing. We put off homework until the last minute and it turns out to be quite shabby. Grades start falling, you stop going to class, stop doing homework, and.....you really don't care. And WHO's fault is it???

I think it is whoever's fault that thought up 7:45 classes.
