When we got to the temple in Spanish Fork, we found out they had a llama farm!
Up the hill from the llama farm was a pavilion with these great big green and tannish people....just standing there.
Krishna's Lotus Temple
Our Colors before we started throwing them at each other.
Mary basically dumped her pink bag of chalk on me.
BFF homies after the madness.
Group Shot
Classic Mormon Foot Shot
First Time Jump Shot. We Are Pros.
Chalk Tie-Dye. This is the shirt I tied around my head so I could breathe.
Cars are beautiful things.
In the top room of the temple, they had three guys in the middle of the room singing and chanting with drums and cymbals. We were all in a circle around them and would chant along with them and dance in circles and yell. It was such a neat experience to be able to see what another kind of religion does for their worship. We didn't know what this meant, but we sure chanted it a lot.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna,
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,
Hare Rama, Hare Rama,
Rama Rama, Hare Hare.
Basically, The Festival of Colors is a unforgettable experience. Definitely worth everything we went through to get there.
