Brother lost his job because his ride to work quit.
Brother miraculously got another job, but didn't have a way to get there.
Brother borrowed my Aunt and Uncle's car to get to work every day till his mish.
Brother wrecked that same car the 2nd day driving it. Totaled it. Thought his wrist was broken.
Brother dislocated his OTHER wrist while roofing my grandparents garage.
Brother had a migraine mixed with an anxiety attack that were showing stroke symptoms that we had to call the lovely paramedics for.
Brother had to go to the doctor, again, to get a shot and a CT after the medics left.
Brother had to miss a night of the play he's the lead in because of previous events.
I broke my foot and have been walking around on it since about the time he got his mission call.
My mom is chronically crazy. And it's been getting worse since his call.
I locked my keys in the car 3 times within 2 days.
Truck wouldn't start last week.
Truck almost blew a tire because of how much tread, or lack thereof, was on it.
BUT, there are upsides.
My dad got a better workstation that he is going to love.
I added to my arsenal of emt skills, just by watching them.
We've grown closer as a family.
We've been able to laugh, a lot.
I've also decided two things about people who get there calls and are waiting to go.
They should not drive!
They should be locked in a room with a bathroom attached for the remainder of their waiting time.
And they should dump their girlfriend. Or in Brothers case, girlfriends that aren't girlfriends but really are.
We have a little less than a month left.
Sheesh.
